Why should I use a bridal makeup artist? Why not just do my own makeup?
There are many reasons to use a bridal makeup artist. Most bridal makeup artists own
high quality makeup that will allow them to create a the best makeup application.
If you had to purchase all of the high quality makeup that a bridal makeup artist uses,
you'd pay more for the makeup than the makeup artist! Additionally, by using a makeup artist, you can guarantee a professional,
stress-free makeup application on your big day.

When do consultations usually happen?
The consultation should take place at least 4 weeks prior to the event. We will discuss the
look you want for your special day, as well as any special needs you might have (covering tattoos,
etc). We will also discuss what kind of photography you plan on having at the wedding so that
your makeup will look great both in person and in the photos!
Do you suggest bringing a friend to the consultation?
Yes! A friend can offer suggestions, advice, and opinions that will help you feel confident
with your makeup application. The best consultations are ones where the bride-to-be feels comfortable.
If you'd like to have a friend, your mother, or any other confidant accompany you, please do!
Do you travel to the bride the day of the wedding?
Yes. I travel up to 10 miles outside of the city of Chicago without a travel fee.
Travel fees vary based on distance, and usually average about $0.50/mile (driving) above & beyond 10 miles.
I am also available to travel to different states/countries, and travel fees are available upon request.
Are you available to just do just the bride's makeup in the event that no one else wants to get
their makeup professionally done?
Yes. However, at the time of consultation, it is the bride's responsibility to provide an accurate
estimate of who will want their makeup done. The deposit is 1/2 of the total and should reflect the
appropriate number of bridesmaids and persons who will desire makeup. The deposit ensures that I schedule
enough time to do hair/makeup for everyone.
Will you apply false eyelashes?
Absolutely. I am happy to apply false eyelashes for no additional charge to those who have hired
me for makeup services. Please advise ahead of time if other members of your
bridal party will require eyelashes.
Do you do airbrushing?
Yes, this service is available for a small extra fee. Please inquire for details.
